Import Engine Supply

Limited Warranty Contract

A: Import Engine Supply Inc. warrants all new/used engines sold with this signed and dated contract as follows.

1. Passenger car, Light Truck for personal and private use.

   • Used Engines . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 180 days

   • Rebuilt Long Block . . (Which ever comes first) . . 1yr./12,000 miles

   • Diesel Engines . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 30 days

   • Rotary Engines . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 30 days

   • Industrial and Commercial Engines . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 30 days

2. Marine, high performance, and propane con version eingines. High performance engines are those increased horsepower resulting from alteration to cubic inch displacement, camshafts, carburetion, or exhaust system, and that produced by the automobile manufactures. These engines are purchase "as is", No Warranty, express or implied, including No Warranty of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose.

3. Warranty upgrade engine only

• Grade 1 . . . . (Which ever comes first) . . . . . . . . . 2yrs./24,000 miles

• Grade 2 . . . . (Which ever comes first) . . . . . . . . . 5yrs./50,000 miles

B. Items Covered under this Contract:

1. All internal engine parts including and limited to the following:

   • Cranshaft, connecting rods, bearings (rod, main and cam) pistons rings, cylinder block, camshaft, camshaft followers, valves, valves guides, valve stem seals, cylinder, head, timing chain and oil pump.

   • Head gaskets are covered for 30 days.

C. Items not covered by this contract:

1. Any and all exterrnal parts including by not limited to:

   • Intake manifold, exhaust manifold, valve cover, timing cover, timing belts, pulleys, water pump, oil pan, flywheel, carburetors, fuel injectors, emission, control, sensor control and their gaskets.

   • Tun up parts including adjustments.

   • Crankshaft trust surface warn due to excessive external pressure

2. Incidental or coincidental damages such as but not limited to:

   • Hotel, motel charges

   • Car or truck rentals

   • Losses due to down time.

   • Fright charges.

3. Any and all fluids including, but not limited to:

   • Oil, antifreeze, ATF, gear lube, leaks, and filters.

4. Any loss or damage caused from over heating or leak of lubercation

   • Oil consumption of les than one quart per 1000 miles

D. Owner's Responsibilities

• Replace water pump, belts, hoses and hose clamps.

• Rod out, Radiator.

• Inspect and/or replace all gaskets and seals.

• Install New thermostat, antifreeze, oil, oil filters, and timing belt.

• Inspect test and/or replace tune up parts and make neccessary adjust to meet original specifications.

• Replace oil and oil filter every 3,000 miles or twice a year which ever comes first.

• Keep documentation of all repair and maintenance work done for further reference if requested.

• 1000 mile service must be recorded with Import Engine Supply Inc. When Completed.

E. Labor is NOT covered as part of this standard contract.

1. Labor is covered only if we were the original installers of the engine and only at our Boise, ID location

   • Vehicle must be returned to our Boise, ID location for warranty services.

   • Used engines (as defined in A:1) Limited to terms of warranty.

   • Rebuilt engine (as defined in A:1) limited to terms of warranty.

2. No allowance will be give for outside labor. No Exceptions.

3. Labor insurance is avaiable

   • Must be purchased with engine purchase or prior to engine installtion

F. Any and all claims must be in writing.

1. Send with copy of dated invoice and proof of owner's responsibilities.

2. Send to address on dated invoice.

G. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.

H. Heat tabs are installed on every engine. Warranty is voided if heat tab is missing or the center has melted.

I. Accurate mileage reading of vehicle when motor was installed must be recorded with Import Engine Supply with in 30 days

I the purchaser understand that this contract is the sole remedy offered with the sale of this engine
